Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru got married in a traditional yogic ceremony at the Isha Foundation

in Coimbatore, and soon after their wedding pictures surfaced online, Raj’s ex-wife Shhyamali De shared a series of

posts that caught public attention.

Shhyamali, who is active on social media, posted an image on her Instagram Stories showing the vastness of the universe.

With an arrow pointing to a tiny planet, she wrote, “We live here.” This marked her first post after Samantha and Raj

made their wedding public. A day earlier, she had shared another cryptic message that read, “Desperate people do

desperate things.” The post quickly drew speculation from social media users, who wondered who it was directed at.

In the days leading up to the wedding, Shhyamali had posted a reflective message about letting go. Sharing a picture of

a woman with bottu and sindoor, she wrote a Sanskrit verse from the Padma Purana: “Runanubhanda Rupena Pashu Patni Suta

Aalaya Runakshaye Kshyayaanthi Tatra Parivedana.” She explained the meaning as: “Through the bond of past debts

(runanubandha), one becomes connected with pets, spouse, children, and home. When those karmic debts are exhausted,

those relationships come to an end, and with them, the associated joys and sorrows cease.”

Samantha and Raj exchanged vows in a Linga Bhairavi Vivaha ceremony that included the Bhuta Shuddhi ritual, distinct

from conventional Indian wedding formats. The two, who were rumoured to be dating since 2024, are believed to have

gotten engaged in February this year. Samantha’s wedding photos also revealed a large ring she had been spotted wearing

since February 13.

After their wedding announcement, congratulatory messages poured in from fans and colleagues across social media.

Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021, who later married Sobhita Dhulipala. Raj

married Shhyamali in 2015, and the two reportedly separated in 2022. Samantha and Raj have collaborated professionally

on The Family Man 2 and Citadel: Honey Bunny, and most recently, they have been working together on Rakt Brahmand: The

Bloody Kingdom.
