For the second game of the double-header Saturday, the Perth Scorchers Women (PS W) will be hosting the Brisbane Heat
Women (BH W) in the Match No. 39 of the ongoing WBBL 2025 on December 6 at the Western Australia Cricket Association
(W.A.C.A.) Ground in Perth.
After registering five wins and four losses in nine fixtures, the Perth Scorchers Women are currently hanging right in
the middle of securing a place for the playoffs, and they cannot afford any further hiccups in the competition. In their
previous fixture against Melbourne Renegades Women, the Scorchers came out on top by 30 runs and kept themselves alive
in the race for the playoffs. They have to do something similar today as well.
Meanwhile, the Brisbane-based side is yet to open their winning account for the season, and have been hit hard due to
the absence of their star batter Jemimah Rodrigues. While it is certain that Brisbane cannot qualify for playoffs any
more, they would certainly not mind ending their last few games of the season on a winning note and spoil the party for
their opponents' future in the WBBL.

Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, Perth - Pitch Report
The Western Australia Cricket Association (W.A.C.A.) Ground, Perth is definitely among the most iconic venues in the
country, and has also hosted several memorable WBBL games in the past, where teams batting first have won only 15 out of
the 36 games, while 21 encounters have gone in favour of the chasing sides. The average first innings total at the venue
has been 140, but it is by no means a winning total, as defending has been a difficult task here. The team winning the
toss should opt to bowl first, which also allows them to get a better assessment on how the pitch responds early on.

Beth Mooney has been the best batter for Perth Scorchers this season, with 301 runs in nine innings against her tally.
She is also the third-highest run-getter of WBBL 2025 so far, only behind Meg Lanning and Danni Wyatt-Hodge. With her

Probable Best Bowler: Alana King
The right-arm leg-break bowler Alana King is among the top spinners in the cricketing circles right now. However, she
has failed to strike more often than not in the ongoing WBBL edition. Her economy rate has also been the highest it has
ever been in a single season of the league's history. With the things going against her way, she will be entering the
field a little under confident. However, she will also keep the belief in her abilities to put up a show. Nevertheless,
She might want to deliver a memorable spell tonight.
