Director Aanand L Rai’s 'Tere Ishk Mein', featuring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, witnessed a dip in box office numbers on

its first Wednesday. After showing strong growth on Tuesday, the film’s collections slid to their lowest point so far on

Day 6. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the romantic drama earned approximately Rs 6.75 crore net on

Wednesday. Of this, around Rs 6.4 crore came from the Hindi belt, while Tamil markets contributed an estimated Rs 35

'Tere Ishk Mein' box office performance

Despite the mid-week slump, 'Tere Ishk Mein' has seen impressive hold in India following its strong opening. Key

metropolitan circuits like Mumbai, Delhi–NCR and Bengaluru, continue to deliver steady weekday footfalls, while mass

centres are also performing consistently. The film began its run with an estimated Rs 16 crore on Friday, followed by a

strong weekend that included Rs 17 crore on Saturday and its highest day of Rs 19 crore on Sunday. Monday saw the

expected drop of over 50%, bringing in around Rs 8.75 crore, before the film rebounded to Rs 10.25 crore on Tuesday.

With Wednesday’s figures, the film’s net collection in India stands at approximately Rs 76.75 crore, while its gross

domestic total has touched an estimated Rs 92.5 crore.

Overseas earnings of about Rs 8 crore have pushed Tere Ishk Mein past the Rs 100 crore worldwide gross milestone within

its first week.

domestic market. Overseas performance has been modest, but steady enough to bolster the film’s global tally.

However, with the release of ‘Dhurandhar’ this week, industry watchers are keen to see how the new competition affects

'Avatar: Fire and Ash' blazes up the Indian box office this December. With the hype around the film, coupled with great

reviews and a strong fandom, the film is touted to have one of the biggest openings for a Hollywood release in India on

December 19.
