Shatrughan Sinha recalls meeting Hema Malini

The ‘Vishwanath’ actor who was in New Delhi when Dharmendra passed away, returned to Mumbai and visited the actor’s

family. On Monday, he wrote on X that he also met Hema Malini and her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. He shared,

“Met our dearest family friend @dreamgirlhema. It was heart breaking to meet her in these traumatic times of her

tremendous loss of our dearest family friend our elder brother @aapkadharam. Met her two beautiful daughters @Esha_Deol

#AhanaDeol with comforting words for their immense loss.”

To honour Dharmendra, the ‘Kala Patthar’ actor posted throwback photos of himself and wife Poonam Sinha with Hema

Malini, Dharmendra, and late actor-politician Sunil Dutt. The images highlighted their decades-long friendship.

Alongside the photos, he wrote, “Dharamji was a kind & gentle soul. He isn’t with us today but his memories will live

with us forever. Prayers & condolences for their peace in these difficult times. God bless them all. Shanti (peace).”

Before visiting Hema Malini, Sinha met Dharmendra’s sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with daughter-in-law Tanya

Deol and the grandchildren. He described the emotional meeting in another post. He wrote, “On my return from Delhi, went

with a very heavy sorrowful heart to our dearest family friend our elder brother’s @aapkadharam home. It was a heart

touching meeting his wonderful sons @iamsunnydeol Bobby Deol @thedeol, his attractive, charming wife Tanya their

handsome sons Dharam & especially Aryaman. It was great meeting them all & remembered Dharmji for the remarkable person

he was & will live forever for the many lives he touched. Prayed for their peace & strength in these sorrowful times.”
