size, comprehensive testing will take time. We're starting with an unboxing of the top-tier Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G.
Inside the box, you'll find a 100W charger, the highest wattage in the series. Xiaomi also includes a gray silicone case
and a USB-A to USB-C cable.
Our review unit features the Mocha Brown color, which has an attractive faux leather finish. This material provides a
better grip and a premium feel. Covering this design with the included case almost feels like a disservice!
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G boasts a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 2772x1280 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh
rate. Only the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G shares this screen size; the standard Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 5G, and Redmi
Note 15 Pro have slightly smaller 6.77-inch displays. The Pro+ model also features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for enhanced
This phone includes dual speakers and a feature Redmi calls a "400% volume boost." It's worth noting that only the Pro
5G and Pro+ 5G models reach this 400% level, while the rest of the series is capped at 300%. We'll explore what this
means in practice during our full review.
Powering the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is a 6,500mAh battery, supporting the series' fastest 100W charging. It also offers
faster 22.5W reverse charging, compared to the 18W found on the standard and Pro models.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a 4nm processor paired with either 8GB or 12GB
of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB.
Regarding cameras, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G features a 200MP 1/1.4-inch main camera, identical to the other Pro models.
It also has an 8MP 15mm ultrawide camera with fixed focus and a 32MP front-facing camera.
