We are almost heading into the halfway point of the campaign and the January transfer window is just around the corner.

For most teams in Europe, this serves as a glorious opportunity to plug some of the key issues in the team by entering

the market for fresh players.

However, that is not applicable for Real Madrid, who have adopted a strict ignorance towards the January transfer window

in recent years.

Real Madrid to make only one move

According to Cadena SER, Real Madrid are expected to make only move during the winter transfer window.

The only move will come in the form of Endrick joining Olympiacos on a loan deal, as the Brazilian international looks

to earn more game-time at the highest level of football.

Real Madrid and Lyon have almost closed the agreement surrounding Endrick’s loan deal, with the player himself keen on

playing for the French team.

This will be the only move Real Madrid make in January, effectively meaning that the club won’t be signing any new

players.

This is despite the fact that the team is reeling with a growing injury list, with Trent Alexander-Arnold once again

picking up a fresh knock while Ferland Mendy, too, has been ruled out.

Recent reports had already indicated that Real Madrid have no desire to sign a replacement for Trent in the January

transfer window.

This report, therefore, is consistent with the broader belief in the Spanish media that Real Madrid won’t even make a

single signing next month.

The report adds that the Real Madrid board has faith in Xabi Alonso’s current options, even though the situation could

get far worse if the team starts picking up more injuries.
