The film 'Dhurandhar,' starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, has proven to be a major success at the box

office. The movie has not only performed exceptionally well in India but has also made a significant impact in North

America. 'Dhurandhar' has now entered the list of Top 10 highest-grossing Indian films in North America, moving past

Aamir Khan's 'PK'.

Notably, 'Dhurandhar' earned USD 662,000 on a recent Friday, boosting its total earnings to USD 10.81 million. This

figure surpasses 'PK's' lifetime North American gross of USD 10.62 million. In fact, 'Dhurandhar' is only the 12th

Indian film ever to cross the USD 10 million mark in this region. This success also marks Ranveer Singh's second-biggest

hit in North America, surpassing Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,' which featured Alia Bhatt. It's

anticipated that 'Dhurandhar' will soon overtake Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Padmaavat' (USD 12.17 million), which

currently holds the 9th position.

In India, the movie’s performance is equally impressive. During its second week, 'Dhurandhar' collected Rs 253.25 crore,

exceeding its first-week earnings of Rs 207.25 crore. As of the third weekend, the film's total collection in India

stands at Rs 516.5 crore, making it the 12th biggest hit in Indian cinema.

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for directing 'Arjun Reddy,' 'Kabir Singh,' and 'Animal,' praised 'Dhurandhar' on

social media, commending its powerful storytelling, performances, and overall execution. Aditya Dhar responded by

thanking Vanga for his support and acknowledging Vanga's fearless approach to filmmaking. 'Dhurandhar' also features

Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Gaurav Gera, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
