Ram Gopal Varma has weighed in on the success of 'Dhurandhar,' which has become a major talking point in the film

industry. Despite some labeling it as propaganda, the film has defied expectations, achieving impressive box office

numbers and showing growth in its second week. Varma shared his review in a series of tweets, starting with high praise

for director Aditya Dhar.

Varma believes that Aditya Dhar has transformed Indian cinema with 'Dhurandhar,' calling it a "quantum leap." He

emphasized the film's innovative vision, extending beyond visuals to impact the audience's mindset. According to Varma,

Dhar doesn't just direct scenes but "engineers the states of minds of both the characters and us audience," creating an

immersive experience where viewers become participants.

RGV highlighted key takeaways from the film, commending Ranveer Singh for prioritizing the script's needs and allowing

Akshaye Khanna to shine. He noted that the film avoids typical hero elevation tactics, instead focusing on flaws and

consequences to create tension. Varma appreciated Ranveer's willingness to step back and let Khanna take center stage,

calling it a testament to Singh's understanding of cinema.

Varma also lauded the film's action sequences, background score, and its respect for the audience's intelligence. He

stated that the film trusts viewers to interpret meaning without spoon-feeding or excessive emotional cues. He concluded

that 'Dhurandhar' serves as a "WARNING to the film industry to GROW UP," exceeding the typical blockbuster formula.

Paresh Rawal, who previously criticized a film critic's review of 'Dhurandhar,' responded to Varma's tweets with a jab

at the critics. He thanked Varma for "teaching our so called CRITICS to how to review the film! Hope they Grow up!"

Varma replied, stating that Aditya Dhar had given the industry a needed "shot in the arm."
