Arsenal travel to Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon for yet another massive clash in the Premier League.

The Gunners managed a straightforward 2-0 win over Brentford in midweek to send themselves eight points clear at the top

of the league table. Mikel Merino opened the scoring with a fine header and Bukayo Saka found the back of the net late

on to seal the win.

Mikel Arteta has yet more injury scares on his mind after Cristhian Mosquera and Declan Rice were both forced off

against the Bees, but he will still be able to field a strong lineup for the trip to Villa Park.

Here's how Arsenal could line up against Villa.

Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Aston Villa (4-3-3)

Goalkeeper & Defenders

David Raya (GK) - Same as every big game. He will be between the sticks once again.

Ben White (RB) - With Timber moving inside to centre back, he will continue at right back and will be looking to put in

a similar performance to his display against Brentford.

Jurrien Timber (CB) - He will find himself in a familiar yet unfamiliar position as he takes up the role he typically

plays for his country. His defensive ability will be as strong as ever though.

Piero Hincapié (CB) - Gabriel remains absent so he will be the starter on the left side of the centre back duo once

again. He is only improving the more he plays so he will benefit from another start.

Riccardo Calafiori (LB) - Having avoided suspension for this game, his involvement from left back will be absolutely key

for this game.

Midfielders

Martin Ødegaard (CM) - He looked bright on his return in midweek and will be hoping to build on that with another start

at Villa Park.

Martín Zubimendi (CM) - After putting in another solid performance, he will remain at the base of midfield and will have

to fight some interesting battles.

Declan Rice (CM) - Despite suffering an injury scare against Brentford, he should be fit to start in his usual

left-sided number eight position.

Forwards

Bukayo Saka (RW) - His midweek goal will have been a great boost for his confidence and he will be eager to continue his

scoring form on Saturday.

Mikel Merino (ST) - He has done so well to keep Gyökeres at bay since his return and he will do so again as he looks to

have the same impact as he has in recent weeks.
