OnePlus will launch its OnePlus 15R smartphone and OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet on December 17 at a live keynote event in

Bengaluru, the company announced. The launch marks OnePlus' return to in-person events and will be livestreamed

globally. The OnePlus 15R will be the first smartphone worldwide to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor,

positioning it as a performance-focused flagship. The smartphone employs triple-chip architecture, combining the

Snapdragon platform with a G2 Wi-Fi chip for improved connectivity and a Touch Response Chip designed to reduce touch

latency during gaming sessions. Camera on OnePlus 15R is said to receive some substantial upgrades through the Detailmax

Engine, incorporating computational photography algorithms from the premium OnePlus 15 model. The 15R includes Ultra

Clear Mode, Clear Burst, and Clear Night Engine features for enhanced image processing across different shooting

conditions. The smartphone is confirmed to feature a 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED display with 450 pixels per inch and adjustable

brightness ranging from 1800 nits at peak to 1 nit with accessibility settings enabled, catering to both outdoor

visibility and nighttime viewing comfort.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 to come with 2.8K screen, Dolby Vision support

Meanwhile, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 will come with a 12.1-inch 2.8K display offering 284 pixels per inch, 900 nits

brightness, and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The tablet is confirmed to support Dolby Vision and has earned TÜV

Rheinland Smart Care 4.0 certification for eye comfort. OnePlus' proprietary Open Canvas software is also supported,

enabling advanced multitasking through split-screen modes and multi-window management. The announcement coincides with

OnePlus' 12th anniversary celebrations. The company launched the OnePlus Run 2.0 game, offering prizes including the

newly announced devices, and introduced festive mascot variants Diwali Una and Christmas Una for the holiday season.
