A user asked Divya how she stays mentally strong amid the “toxicity in Bollywood” and the relentless pressure

surrounding appearance and behaviour. Divya’s metaphor-rich reply stood out. “I myself feel that Bollywood is a place

where there are crocodiles all around and you feel like you are navigate your way through it,” she said. Despite

acknowledging the harshness of the industry, Divya stressed that her principles guide her choices. “I think the most imp

thing is to remain true to your own self. I will never sell my soul to get work. Hota hai toh theek hai, nahi hota toh

bhi theek hai... and what’s more imp is when you reach up you should have good slate of karma to carry with you.”

When asked to name her most enjoyable film experience, Divya picked Savi without hesitation. “Has to be Savi. The most

amazing shoot in UK in almost minus 10 degrees for 42 days non-stop. But the production was so well organised that it

set a benchmark for me to compare Savi set experience with all my other movies.”

“Are you divorced?” — Divya sets the record straight

One of the boldest questions during the AMA came from a user who bluntly asked if she was divorced. Divya responded with

a mix of humour and exasperation. “No, But the media really wants it,” she said. Divya has been married to Bhushan

Kumar, chairman and managing director of T-Series, since 2005. They have one son named Ruhaan. Ruhaan was born in

October 2011, making them a family of three.
