The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro flagships are all set to launch in India today. The event will take place today at 12PM, and the mood around the launch has been building steadily over the past few days. Both phones, which were introduced in China earlier, have created enough chatter to suggest that Vivo is aiming for a serious spot beside brands like OnePlus, iQOO and Oppo in the high-end space. What has further intensified interest is the leaked pricing, which indicates that Vivo could position the X300 and X300 Pro higher than what many expected. That automatically places a larger spotlight on the camera package, build and internal hardware that the brand has been highlighting since the China launch. Vivo will be live-streaming the launch event on its social channels at 12PM, and the Indian market will finally get clarity on how these devices will be placed. Until then, the leaked prices and key specifications give a fairly clear picture of what to expect.

Vivo X300, X300 Pro India price (leaked)
The biggest talking point hours before the launch continues to be the pricing. Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently claimed that Vivo may start the X300 at Rs 75,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. If this turns out to be accurate, the base X300 would arrive at a premium compared to rival flagships from OnePlus and iQOO. The next two variants, carrying 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB, are tipped to be tagged at Rs 81,999 and Rs 85,999.
Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 Pro is rumoured to come only in one configuration, the 16GB + 512GB model, and could land at Rs 1,09,999.
Apart from the phones, Vivo has already revealed one accessory that has caught the attention of photography enthusiasts, the Telephoto Extender Kit for the X300 series. Rumours suggest it may land at Rs 20,999, making it considerably more affordable than Oppo’s Hasselblad-branded teleconverter, which costs Rs 29,999. For creators who rely on long-range photography or want cleaner optical results, this could become one of the more interesting add-ons of the season.
Vivo X300 Pro: Specs
Coming to specifications, the Vivo X300 Pro stands out as the more feature-packed device. In China, it comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED panel, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and circular polarisation 2.0 for better visibility in harsh lighting. Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The India units are expected to mirror the same configuration. The phone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6, though Vivo generally replaces this with Funtouch OS for Indian models.
The cameras, as expected from the X-series, are the star attraction. The Pro variant uses a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide sensor, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, also with OIS. Vivo continues its collaboration with Zeiss, and the phone supports an optional 2.35x teleconverter for extra reach. Under the hood, Vivo’s V3+ and Vs1 imaging chips handle computational photography. On the front, the X300 Pro carries a 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie camera, a setup that is expected to be identical on the Indian variant.
Fueling the device is a 6,510mAh battery, backed by 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, an Action Button, a new signal amplifier chip, a large x-axis linear motor and four Wi-Fi boosters round off the feature list. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and GPS, and the phone also carries an IP68 rating. At 226g, the X300 Pro feels dense but aligns with what most ultra-flagships weigh today.
Vivo X300: Specs
The standard Vivo X300 follows the same core formula but trims down in a few areas to stay lighter and more compact. It uses the same Dimensity 9500 processor and the same wireless + wired charging speeds, though the battery drops to 6,040mAh. The phone features a smaller 6.31-inch 1.5K BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED screen, making it a rare compact flagship in today’s market. It measures 150.57 x 71.92 x 7.95mm and weighs 190g, which could attract users who prefer a lighter phone without compromising on premium hardware.
The camera setup, however, differs from the Pro. Instead of the Sony sensor, the X300 uses a 200MP Samsung HPB primary camera with OIS, paired with a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 50MP LYT-602 periscope telephoto camera. Like the Pro version, the X300 supports the Zeiss teleconverter and features the V3+ imaging chip for enhanced processing. For selfies, it matches the Pro with the same 50MP Samsung JN1 front camera.
