Despite being banned in Pakistan, the Indian spy thriller 'Dhurandhar' appears to be extremely popular, even among the Pakistani elite. A video has surfaced showing Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Bilawal Bhutto making a grand entrance at an event while the song FA9LA played in the background.

'Dhurandhar,' starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna, has faced legal challenges in Pakistani courts questioning its content, which focuses on the political-crime nexus in Lyari, Pakistan. That said, the reality is a bit more complicated. numerous viral clips indicate that Pakistanis are openly playing the film's songs at public gatherings.

The video shows Bilawal Bhutto being welcomed on stage at a party while the popular FA9LA song, also known as Fasla, is playing. It's noteworthy that the PPP has also filed a case in a Pakistani court regarding the film's use of the party's flag and a photo of Benazir Bhutto.

The song FA9LA, a Bahraini hip-hop track produced by DJ Outlaw and featuring Flipperachi, gained international popularity due to its inclusion in the film and the Balochi-style dance sequence performed by Akshaye Khanna's character, Rehman Dakait.

Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar,' which addresses the 1999 Kandahar hijacking, the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, and illegal activities in Lyari, has achieved significant box office success and international attention, including in Pakistan. Reports indicate that the movie was illegally downloaded two million times in Pakistan within just 12 days, and that number is increasing.

Pakistani authorities have rejected the film as hostile propaganda due to its depiction of Pakistan's internal struggles. A new Pakistani film, 'Mera Lyari,' is reportedly being produced to counter 'Dhurandhar.' Furthermore, 'Dhurandhar' has been banned in six Gulf countries – Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE – because of its alleged anti-Pakistan content.
