Vicky Kaushal Jokes About Diaper Duty After Son's Birth: 'Better Than My Acting'

Vicky Kaushal discusses being a new dad after welcoming a son with Katrina Kaif, his anniversary, and upcoming film. He claims diaper skills beat acting!
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are now parents, having welcomed their first child, a son, on November 7, 2025. Vicky recently attended an event in Delhi, his first public appearance since the birth, and spoke about his new experiences as a father.
During the event, when asked about mastering diaper changes alongside acting and dancing, Vicky joked with NDTV, “I am better at changing diapers than acting. I’d just like to say that.” He also shared the emotional impact of fatherhood, admitting it was difficult leaving the city so soon after his son's arrival. "It’s very tough... But one day when he watches this, he’ll be proud of his dad. I can’t express in words what it means to be a father,” he said.
Vicky and Katrina also celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on December 9. Vicky posted a selfie on Instagram with Katrina to commemorate the occasion. He captioned it, “Celebrating today… blissful, grateful and sleep deprived. Happy 4 to us,” while also mentioning their newborn son. The couple's wedding took place on December 9, 2021, at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal's recent film, "Chhaava," where he played Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj alongside Rashmika Mandanna and directed by Laxman Utekar, became a box office success, earning Rs 708.5 crore nett in India. He is also slated to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s "Love & War" with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
