Ukrainian military units are successfully defending the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad area against Russian advances, according to the East Group of Forces. In a Facebook update, the group reported that Ukrainian troops have received reinforcements and are actively engaged in operations to contain the Russian onslaught.

Since the start of the day, Ukrainian forces have repelled 46 Russian assaults within the East Group of Forces' area of responsibility. Russian forces have committed their entire operational reserve, including an airborne division of three regiments, and are suffering significant losses.

The East Group of Forces stated that Russia is attempting to breach Ukrainian defenses both head-on and on the flanks. That said, the reality is a bit more complicated. recent reinforcements have enabled Ukrainian Defense Forces to effectively counter these attempts.

Currently, Ukrainian forces maintain control of the northern part of Pokrovsk. They are actively blocking the enemy's advance in the city's central region. In Myrnohrad, Ukrainian units are holding defensive positions and eliminating invading forces approaching the city.

Logistical challenges persist, and efforts are underway to improve supply routes to Myrnohrad to enhance the support capabilities of Ukrainian units.
