TCS layoff controversy: Employee forced to quit before surgery, claims insufficient severance pay

The man, who had a cumulative work experience of over 29 years, had reportedly worked with TCS for 14 years, was reportedly forced by the company's HR team to either accept 10 months' severance pay or face termination.

In yet another horror layoff story for TCS employees, a Mumbai-based senior staffer was reportedly forced to resign while awaiting surgery during his approved medical leave, the Forum for IT Employees (FITE) has claimed.
