Tata Motors recorded a strong performance in November 2025 - The growth was led by the Nexon, Punch and a remarkable surge in Harrier EV volumes
Tata Motors recorded a strong performance in November 2025 with total domestic passenger vehicle sales reaching 57,436 units, marking a 22.04% YoY growth over the 47,063 units sold in November 2024. The growth was led by the Nexon, Punch and a remarkable surge in Harrier EV volumes. However, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, overall sales dipped by 6.05%, compared to 61,134 units in October 2025.
Nexon and Punch Lead Tata’s Sales Momentum
Nexon (including Nexon EV) retained its position as Tata’s best-selling model with 22,434 units, a significant 46.35% YoY jump and a stable 1.59% MoM increase. Punch (including Punch EV) followed as the second highest seller, posting 18,753 units, growing 21.50% YoY and 11.56% MoM, continuing its strong market demand.
One of the biggest highlights was the Harrier (including Harrier EV), which posted 3,771 units, registering an impressive 174.45% YoY growth. Although MoM numbers dipped by 15.88%, Harrier’s YoY surge reflects growing consumer acceptance of Tata’s larger SUVs and EV range. Altroz also posted healthy numbers at 3,013 units, up 44.65% YoY, though down 20.08% from October. Safari sales reached 1,895 units, growing 21.24% YoY, but showing a 24.50% MoM decline.
Curvv (including Curvv EV) recorded 1,094 units, witnessing a steep 78.55% YoY drop, and a 23.60% MoM decline, indicating a slowdown after its initial launch buzz. Tiago (including Tiago EV) delivered 5,988 units, up 12.58% YoY, but fell 32.34% MoM compared to October. Tigor (including Tigor EV) continued its downward trend with 488 units, down 43.19% YoY and 59.20% MoM, suggesting weakening demand in the compact sedan space.

Strong YoY Performance Despite MoM Cooling
Overall, Tata’s November 2025 numbers reflect solid YoY growth driven by its strong SUV and EV lineup, particularly Nexon, Punch, and Harrier EV. However, compared to October, several models witnessed a softening in demand, bringing the total MoM decline to 6.05%. As Tata gears up for multiple upcoming launches including petrol-powered Harrier/Safari and new-gen Sierra rollouts, the brand is expected to regain stronger momentum in the coming months.
