That said, the reality is a bit more complicated. like all foldable devices, the replacement cost of the display is a primary concern for potential owners. Now, details are emerging about the expense of fixing this device.

Samsung Galaxy TriFold Display Cost: A Pricey Repair

Replacing the foldable screen on Samsung’s premium TriFold phone is estimated to cost upwards of $1100 (approximately Rs 99,000). This hefty price tag applies only to the foldable screen itself, the most crucial component of the device.

This makes it the most expensive screen replacement offered by Samsung. The TriFold's repair cost underscores the financial commitment required to own such a device. Interestingly, repairing the cover screen is significantly cheaper, costing less than $100 (around Rs 9,000), a fraction of the main foldable panel's price.

The high cost of replacing the foldable screen reflects the complex manufacturing process involved. While Samsung offers a one-time 50% discount on screen replacement, the reduced price still exceeds $500 (approximately Rs 45,000).

The Samsung Galaxy TriFold has seen a limited release, and the company isn't expected to produce many units. Currently, there are no plans to launch the device in India.
