Samsung has announced its plans for its 2026 flagship television models, which include an expanded range of Micro RGB TVs. The goal is to bring top-tier, self-emissive display technology to a broader range of home environments. The 2026 lineup will feature models in the following sizes: 55, 65, 75, 85, 100, and 115 inches.
Micro RGB technology from Samsung uses red, green, and blue LEDs that are smaller than 100 μm. Unlike traditional LED-LCDs or even some OLED screens, these millions of microscopic LEDs each produce their own light and color independently.
According to Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the visual display business at Samsung, the Micro RGB portfolio delivers exceptionally vivid color and clarity, making movies, sports, and TV shows more immersive. Expanding the lineup for 2026 allows Samsung to establish a new premium category that fits a wide variety of modern living spaces.
The new lineup is powered by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, a chipset designed to manage the substantial data processing needed for microscopic light control in real time. Key AI features include 4K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro, among others.
Samsung is also introducing the Vision AI Companion, a multi-agent platform powered by a large language model (LLM). By integrating Bixby with advanced LLMs, the TV now supports conversational search, AI-powered recommendations, and direct access to tools like Live Translate and Perplexity search. The 2026 models will also feature Samsung’s Glare Free technology, which preserves contrast even in brightly lit rooms.
On the audio side, Samsung is launching Eclipsa Audio, a new spatial sound system designed for immersive 3D audio. This system works with Q-Symphony and Dolby Atmos to create a deep, multidimensional soundstage when paired with Samsung soundbars.
Samsung plans to showcase its 2026 Micro RGB lineup at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6–9. The company states that this event will be the global stage for demonstrating how these various screen sizes will reshape the ultra-premium home entertainment market.
