Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a global partner of Street League Skateboarding (SLS), today announced the integration of its innovative technology at the SLS Super Crown World Championship in São Paulo, Brazil. Samsung is redefining the skateboarding fan experience by capturing every trick, angle and reaction – offering an immersive view of the sport.
Samsung will mount Galaxy S25 Ultra within the SLS competition course to capture cinematic footage from fresh angles. These devices will also support the live broadcast, delivering dynamic footage and replays of the night’s most epic tricks. By integrating Galaxy’s mobile technology directly into competition, the course itself becomes a creative lens for the sport.
Rayssa Leal, Team Samsung Galaxy star and three-time SLS Super Crown World Champion who will be defending her world title, played an active role in helping integrate Galaxy S25 Ultra, working with Samsung and SLS to provide the creative mindset of skateboarding, ensuring the new experience will capture the most dynamic and authentic moments for fans watching around the world.
“Skateboarding has always been about sharing moments, from tricks to emotions, capturing it all is part of our culture,” said Rayssa Leal. “I’m thrilled that fans can experience each moment the same way I feel it on my board. It makes competing even more special. It’s delightful to see how Samsung’s innovation is bringing us even closer together.
