Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s item song, Oo Antava in Pushpa, is an all-time hit dance number. But do you know the actress was asked not to do the item number? In an interview with Miss Malini, Samantha spoke about it and said:
“While I was offered Oo Antava, I was in the middle of all of the separation. The announcement came and every friend of mine every well-wisher, and my family were like 'you sit at home, you will not do an item song now just after you announced a separation and you will say no to this'.”

However, Samantha was clear in her head that she would do the item number as it is her job and she does not need to hide anything. In the same conversation, Samantha shared her opinion and revealed why she decided to do the item song, despite people warning her about it. In her words:
“So it's like okay I'm doing it because I just thought that why should I hide? I mean I did not do anything wrong why should I hide? I was not going to go into hiding and wait for all of the trolling and abuse to go away and then slowly creep back in like some someone who had committed a crime. I was not going to do that. I gave my marriage 100 it did not work out but I was not going to beat myself up and feel guilty for something that I didn't do.”

While speculations about the possible reasons for Chaitanya and Samantha’s split circulated, the actor, in an interview, spoke about his choice of roles. Giving his two cents on it, he shared:

Samantha looked stunning in a red and gold silk saree, her hair tied in a jooda adorned with flowers. She complemented her look with gold jewellery and subtle makeup. On the other hand, Raj looked handsome in a white kurta with a beige Nehru jacket for the wedding. The duo looked adorable as they stepped out of the temple with arms around each other.
