Samantha Ruth Prabhu ties the knot with ‘The Family Man’ director Raj Nidimoru

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru after months of speculation about the relationship. The actor took to social media on Monday, December 1, 2025 to make the announcement. The wedding ceremony took place at the Linga Bhairavi Devi temple in Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore and was attended by close friends and family.
Samantha shared some photos from their wedding ceremony with a carousel post on Instagram. Samantha wore a maroon embroidered sari and complemented it with golden jewellery while Raj wore a white Kurta Pyjama and paired it with an orange jacket. Sharing the photos, Samantha wrote in caption, "01.12.2025.”
The comments section of the post was filled with congratulatory messages from actors Ananya Panday, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Divya Prabha and Kalyani Priyadarshan, among others.
Samantha and Raj first worked together in the second season of The Family Man, where Samantha played the antagonist and Raj was the co-creator along with Krishna DK. She also starred in Citadel: Honey Bunny (2024), which was also helmed by the director duo Raj & DK. Samantha and Raj were recently spotted several times together at events. However, the couple kept their relationship private.
Samantha was earlier married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple tied the knot in 2017 and got divorced in 2021. Naga Chaitanya married actor Shobhita Dhulipala in December, 2024. Meanwhile, Raj got married to Shhyamali De in 2015 and the two filed for divorce in 2022.
