The 3D teaser for Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana,' starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, will premiere alongside 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' in theaters this December.
Moviegoers are in for a treat this December as the 3D teaser for Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' is set to be unveiled in theaters. The film, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, promises to bring India's epic story to life with stunning visuals.
According to reports, the 'Ramayana' teaser will be screened alongside James Cameron's highly anticipated 'Avatar: Fire and Ash.' This provides a sneak peek at the ambitious project before its scheduled Diwali 2026 release. The visual effects are being crafted by DNEG, an eight-time Oscar-winning studio, who also worked on the first glimpse released in July.
Ranbir Kapoor previously expressed his enthusiasm for portraying Lord Ram at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah in 2024. He highlighted the global collaboration involved in the two-part film, emphasizing the use of modern technology to retell India's greatest story to a new generation. Kapoor also spoke on the film's exploration of Indian culture, family dynamics, and the relationship between husband and wife.
In addition to Kapoor, Pallavi, and Yash, the film boasts a star-studded cast including Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' is slated to arrive in Indian theaters on December 19, 2025.
