Rakesh Bedi discusses Aditya Dhar's humility after Dhurandhar's massive success, earning over ₹350 crore worldwide. Find out what Dhar is doing now.
Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi recently shared insights into Aditya Dhar's character, particularly his down-to-earth reaction to the overwhelming success of *Dhurandhar*.
Bedi recounted how Dhar had promised him a more substantial role after his brief appearance in *URI: The Surgical Strike*. Initially skeptical, Bedi was pleasantly surprised when Dhar offered him the role of Jameel Jamali, a Pakistani politician, in *Dhurandhar*. Bedi stated, “Aditya is different. He means what he says... He is not a shallow person.”
Bedi further praised Dhar's humility, noting that despite *Dhurandhar*'s huge success – currently at over ₹350 crore worldwide and with the second part still to come – Dhar has shunned the limelight. “He isn’t giving interviews or talking to anyone. He has simply gone home and is spending time with his family. He's not someone who boasts about his achievements.”
*Dhurandhar* is a two-part spy action thriller inspired by real geopolitical events, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking and the 2001 Indian Parliament attack.
