Palak Muchhal breaks silence on Palaash Muchhal Smriti Mandhana wedding delay

Singer Palak Muchhal has opened up about how her family is coping after the wedding of cricketer Smriti Mandhana and her brother Palaash Muchhal was put on hold.
The wedding, originally scheduled to take place on November 23 in Sangli, was postponed unexpectedly, leading to widespread speculation and intense public interest. Palak has now addressed the situation for the first time, acknowledging the emotional strain both families have been experiencing.

Describing it as an extremely challenging period, Palak told Filmfare, “I think the families have been through a very, very tough time we would like to believe in positivity in this time and spread positivity as much as we can. And stay strong yeah.”
Smriti and Palaash's wedding was put on hold after the cricketer's father, Shrinivas Mandhana, fell ill on the wedding day and was rushed to a hospital in Sangli after symptoms of a heart attack. A day later, Palaash himself was hospitalised in Sangli before being transferred to Mumbai for further assessment. The sequence of events led to both families deciding to put the wedding on hold.
Palak's remarks are the first official confirmation from the Muchhal family since the postponement. Meanwhile, Smriti and Palaash are yet to speak publicly about the development, though both recently added an evil eye emoji to their social media bios.
