OTT viewers are in for a treat tonight with fresh and exciting content coming to different platforms. Here’s the list of prominent movies and series that are arriving tonight.
The Girlfriend:
The romantic drama starring Rashmika Mandanna is set to arrive on Netflix at 12 midnight in multiple languages. The film, also starring Dheekshith Shetty, Anu Emannuel, Rao Ramesh, and Rohini in key roles, is directed by Rahul Ravindran. The film exploring toxic relationships had a decent run at the ticket windows.
Dies Irae:
Mollywood’s recent horror thriller, Dies Irae, headlined by Pranav Mohanlal, emerged as a blockbuster commercially. Dies Irae will start streaming from tonight on Jio Hotstar in major Indian languages. The movie is directed by Rahul Sadasivan, who earlier helmed the critically acclaimed horror flicks Bhoothakaalam and Bramayugam.
The Great Pre-Wedding Show:
Masoodha fame Thiruveer’s new film, The Great Pre-Wedding Show, directed by Rahul Srinivas, received solid reviews from critics. The rom-com entertainer will be available for streaming on ZEE5 from tonight. Teena Shravya, known for Committee Kurrollu, played the female lead. Rohan Roy, Narendra Ravi, and Yamini Nageswar played key roles.
Dhoolpet Police Station:
Aha is coming up with a new web series titled Dhoolpet Police Station, an investigative thriller directed by Jaswini Jay. The show will stream in Tamil and Telugu from December 5. Ashwin Kumar Lakshminathan, Guru Lakshman, Padinekumar, Sreethu Krishnan, and popular TV actress Preethi Sharma will play the lead roles in this suspense thriller. New episodes drop every Friday at 7 PM.
Kuttram Purindhavan:
This Tamil crime thriller series will be available for streaming on Sony LIV from December 5 in multiple languages. Pasupathy, Vidaarth, and Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli headline the show, which is directed by Selvamani Muniyappan. Kuttram Purindhavan is about a former cop whose attempt to help in a missing girl case pulls him into guilt, secrets, and consequences.
Stephen:
Netflix is coming up with its original Tamil film, Stephen, headlined by Gomathi Shankar. It is a psychological thriller that marks the directorial debut of Mithun Balaji. The movie will be available for streaming from December 5 in multiple languages. Stephen is about a psychiatrist who investigates a self-confessed serial killer after nine girls disappear, only to question whether he’s guilty or a victim in a darker game.
