As we step into the first week of the final month (December) of 2025, a stack of new films and series is ready for streaming. To help you sort through the crowd, here is a curated list of what is arriving on your favourite platforms. Pick what suits your taste and add it to your watchlist.
Karimulla Biryani Point:
The newest short in ETV Win’s Katha Sudha lineup is already streaming. Chaitanya Sagiraju, Kancharapalem Raju and Sivanarayana Naripeddi lead the cast. Prabhu Chand directed it and it landed on the platform on November 30, 2025.
Thamma:
Rashmika Mandanna’s horror comedy Thamma is finally coming to Amazon Prime Video. It will be available on a rental basis from December 2, 2025. The Telugu version is unlikely to show up. Aditya Sarpotdar directed the film and Ayushmann Khurrana co-starred in this Maddock Films production.
The Girlfriend:
Rashmika Mandanna’s recent release The Girlfriend starts streaming on Netflix on December 5, 2025. Multiple audio versions are confirmed. With Deekshith Shetty in the lead and Rahul Ravindran directing, the actual reception on OTT is something to watch out for.
The Great Pre Wedding Show:
If you are in the mood for a light comedy, this film should work well. Thiruveer and Teena Sravya star in this Rahul Srinivas directorial. It premieres on ZEE5 on December 5, 2025 and early chatter suggests that its digital run may perform better than its theatrical release.
Dies Irae:
For horror thriller enthusiasts, Dies Irae arrives on Jio Hotstar on December 5, 2025. Pranav Mohanlal stars in this Malayalam hit that crossed Rs. 80 crore at the box office. It will stream in all major Indian languages including Telugu. Its digital traction will be interesting to track.
Stephen:
Stephen is a Tamil psychological thriller that goes straight to Netflix on December 5, 2025. The series has Telugu audio as well. Gomathi Shankar plays the lead and Mithun Balaji directs. JM Production House produced it.
Dhoolpet Police Station:
After a long wait, Aha is rolling out its Tamil original Dhoolpet Police Station. Jaswini Jay directed this investigative thriller. Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, Guru Lakshman, Padini Kumar, Sreethu and Preethi Sharma form the core cast. The show contains fifty episodes and new episodes drop every Friday at 7 PM, starting December 5, 2025. The Telugu version is also confirmed.
Kuttram Purindhavan:
This Tamil crime thriller series streams on Sony LIV from December 5, 2025. Telugu audio is confirmed. Pasupathy, Vidaarth and Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli lead the cast. RK Selvamani makes his OTT debut with this story about a former cop whose attempt to help in a missing girl case pulls him into guilt, secrets and consequences.
Gharwali Pedwali:
ZEE5 brings this Hindi supernatural comedy series on December 5, 2025. Paras Arora, Priyamvada Kant and Seerat Kapoor headline the show and Ashish Khurana directed it. A Telugu version is unlikely since there is no update about it.
Kesariya@100:
Kesariya@100 is a Hindi documentary that looks into a century of social, political and cultural events tied to the RSS. Nitish Bharadwaj anchors the project. It is a ZEE5 special and currently limited to Hindi with no Telugu update. It is confirmed to stream from December 5, 2025.
