Netflix has now made it official that the show has created a sensational record as the most-viewed English series ever released on the platform. Its first-week viewership stands at 59.6 million.
This is good news, but it still failed to beat the record of another popular Netflix series, Squid Game Season 2. It was released in 2024 and stood tall with 68 million first-week views as the most-viewed series overall, and Stranger Things Season 5 failed to come anywhere close.
So, this is the record it failed to beat, and we need to see whether Season 5 Part 2 may achieve it. Also, the finale of Season 2 is set to hit theaters in the US, and ticket bookings for the limited shows are now open.
