OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 15R next month, with the launch date slated for December 17, 2025. Recent leaks have provided insights into the phone's storage configurations and anticipated pricing for the Indian market.
According to tipster @passionategeekz on X, the OnePlus 15R will offer two storage variants in India, both featuring 12GB of RAM. Customers will have a choice between 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. The tipster suggests that the 12GB RAM/512GB storage variant could be priced above Rs 52,000, based on information from an internal source. This estimation places the base model, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, in the Rs 47,000 to Rs 49,000 range.
OnePlus is also expected to provide bank discounts on launch day. These offers could potentially reduce the price by Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000, effectively lowering the cost for buyers. Official pricing and specific offers will be revealed at the launch event.
The OnePlus 15R is scheduled to debut in India and other global markets on December 17. It will be available in Black and Green color options. Additionally, OnePlus will introduce an Ace Edition variant in Purple. The company will also launch the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet for both Indian and global consumers on the same day. This upgrade allows the OnePlus 15R to match the OnePlus 15 in terms of selfie camera resolution. That said, the reality is a bit more complicated. the two phones will use different sensors. The OnePlus 15 utilizes a Sony IMX709 sensor, while the OnePlus 15R is rumored to feature an OmniVision sensor.
Other confirmed specifications include a 1.5K resolution display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, and a 7,400mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. The phone will operate on OxygenOS 16 and include a Plus Key. Furthermore, it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with 4K 120fps video recording support, along with an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
