OnePlus is set to celebrate its 12th anniversary with a major live keynote event in Bengaluru on December 17, where the company will globally launch two highly anticipated devices – the OnePlus 15R smartphone and the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet. These launches come on the heels of the release of the OnePlus 15 flagship last month, a phone which was the first one to introduce Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to India.
With the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2, the company expects to return to its roots of offering ‘flagship killer’ devices at accessible prices. The company announced the live event, marking a return to in-person keynotes from the online-only counterparts, and also revealed several key specifications for both products.
The launch event in Bengaluru will be streamed live on the company’s official YouTube channel and social media handles.

OnePlus claims the chipset has been co-optimised with Qualcomm for superior performance.
For the display segment, the OnePlus 15R will bring a high-end 1.5K AMOLED screen featuring a fluid 165Hz refresh rate, matching the flagship OnePlus 15 model. The display also boasts a 450PPI pixel density and 1,800 nits of peak brightness, with a dynamic range from 2 nits up to 1,800 nits.
The handset will incorporate the brand’s proprietary Detailmax Engine for computational photography, bringing over advanced features from the flagship OnePlus 15 line, including Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst, and the Clear Night Engine. The phone is also confirmed to feature the new G2 Wi-Fi chip and a dedicated Touch Response Chip for enhanced speed and responsiveness.
The OnePlus 15R is expected to come to India at a much lower price point of under Rs 45,000, replacing the OnePlus 13R.
