Nidhhi Agerwal was mobbed by fans at 'The Raja Saab' song launch in Hyderabad, sparking online outrage over the lack of crowd control and excessive adoration.
Actress Nidhhi Agerwal found herself in a difficult situation at the Hyderabad song launch for 'The Raja Saab' when an enthusiastic crowd of fans surrounded her as she was leaving the event. Video footage shows her struggling to make her way through the throng, leading many online viewers to express outrage regarding the incident, citing both the intense fan adoration and the perceived lack of adequate crowd management by event organizers.
The song launch event in Hyderabad was held Wednesday for 'Sahana Sahana' from the film 'The Raja Saab,' which stars Prabhas. Agerwal appears in the song. As she attempted to leave the venue, the actress was met by a large number of fans who mobbed her.
A video showing Agerwal's experience as she exited the song launch quickly gained traction online. Despite the presence of security, the actress appeared to have difficulty reaching her car. The video, shared by the entertainment platform Gulte, shows Agerwal looking visibly distressed even after entering her vehicle. Neither the actress nor the film's producers have released a statement regarding the incident as of yet.
The online reaction to the video has been overwhelmingly critical of the fans' behavior. Many social media users have voiced their disapproval, with one person commenting on the apparent lack of crowd management and calling it a failure on the part of the organizers. Another user expressed sympathy for Agerwal, noting that it seemed as though everyone was trying to touch her. Several comments described the scene as disturbing and unacceptable, emphasizing that admiration should not turn into intimidation and that celebrities deserve respect and personal space. One commenter suggested that better planning of the exit, similar to choreographed entrances, could have prevented the incident. Another X user questioned why respecting personal space is such a difficult concept for some crowds.
