Motorola Edge 70 Launched in India With 5,000mAh Battery, 50MP Triple Cameras: Price & Specs

Motorola has expanded its Edge series in India with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70. The smartphone, announced on Monday, boasts a 50-megapixel triple-lens rear camera setup and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

The Motorola Edge 70, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at Rs. 29,999 in India. As a launch offer, Motorola is providing a Rs. 1,000 discount for purchases made using select bank cards.

The phone will be available for purchase starting December 23 through Flipkart, the official Motorola India online store, and various offline retail outlets. Customers can choose from three Pantone colors: Bronze Green, Gadget Grey, and Lily Pad.

The Motorola Edge 70 operates on Android 16, layered with Hello UI. Motorola promises three major Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates for the device. The phone sports a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content. With IP68 + IP69 ratings, the phone is highly resistant to dust and water. It also boasts MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.

Internally, the Motorola Edge 70 combines Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device also incorporates Moto AI tools, including Next Move, Catch Me Up 2.0, Pay Attention 2.0, Remember This + Recall, and Co-pilot.
