Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced that its Buildings & Factories (B&F) business has recently been awarded several substantial contracts in India.

One notable project involves the construction of Advait Lok, a museum complex dedicated to Acharya Shankar, located in Omkareshwar, Khandwa district, Madhya Pradesh. The order comes from the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation. L&T will handle the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of this museum, which will showcase Acharya Shankar's life and philosophy through curated exhibits. The museum's design will feature intricate stone carvings and architectural elements made of glass fibre reinforced concrete.

The scope of work includes the construction of the civil structure, architectural finishes, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) services, and external development, including parking facilities. L&T will also be responsible for operations and maintenance for a period of five years. The project is expected to be completed within 36 months.

Furthermore, L&T has secured an EPC order from the Assam Government for the redevelopment of the R G Baruah Sports Complex in Sarusajai, Guwahati. This project includes constructing a FIFA-compliant football stadium with a seating capacity of 25,000, along with a range of other sports facilities. The project timeline is 27 months.

In Mumbai, L&T will also construct luxury high-rise residential towers for a well-known developer. This project includes the construction of three towers, each featuring two basements, a ground floor, and between 45 and 66 upper floors. The towers, reaching heights of up to 230 meters, will utilize reinforced concrete shell and core structures, premium finishes, and comprehensive MEP services.
