Lionel Messi, along with Suarez and de Paul, visited Mumbai, India, where Sachin Tendulkar presented Messi with an Indian jersey at Wankhede Stadium.
Lionel Messi's visit to India has concluded, with Messi, Suarez, and de Paul departing after a memorable appearance in Mumbai.
The event included an auction scheduled for later in the evening, featuring memorabilia to be sold for charity.
During the visit to Wankhede Stadium, Sachin Tendulkar addressed Messi, saying:
"I have spent some incredible moments here. Mumbai is a city of dreams, and many dreams have been realized at this venue. Your support has been invaluable in achieving golden moments at this ground in 2011. Having all three of you here is a golden moment for Mumbai, Mumbaikars, and India. The reception you received was remarkable.
"While this isn't the platform to discuss his game, Messi has achieved everything. We admire his dedication, determination, commitment, and above all, his humility. On behalf of all Mumbaikars, I wish him and his family the very best of health. Thank you for being here and encouraging our youngsters. I hope football reaches the heights we all aspire to."
