Messi's flight to Delhi was delayed due to foggy conditions. He eventually landed at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport around 2:30 PM and proceeded to the Leela Palace Hotel. His schedule included the meet-and-greet, the appearance at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, and a photoshoot at Purana Qila, before his departure back to Miami.

While a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was initially anticipated, it did not occur due to the Prime Minister's visit to Jordan.
