LG's Sound Suite, featuring its first Dolby Atmos FlexConnect soundbar, allows for versatile speaker placement and setup. Unveiled before CES 2026.
LG has introduced its initial lineup of Dolby Atmos FlexConnect speakers, known as the LG Sound Suite, which marks the company's first foray into soundbars within this system.
The unveiled collection comprises four components: the H7 soundbar, the M7 and M5 surround speakers, and the W7 subwoofer. This announcement precedes the official CES 2026 event. To utilize FlexConnect, a compatible TV is necessary. That said, the reality is a bit more complicated. the H7 soundbar can function as the primary device, enabling the addition of other components to any television.
Debuted last year with the TCL Z100, FlexConnect is a Dolby surround system that gives users the freedom to position up to five speakers anywhere in a room. The software then calibrates the setup to create an Atmos experience. According to LG, the SoundSuite provides 27 distinct speaker configurations, ranging from a basic two-speaker arrangement to a comprehensive 13.1.7 channel home theater setup.
LG has stated that its premium 2026 TVs will come equipped with FlexConnect compatibility. Furthermore, the company intends to extend this capability to select 2025 models. Details regarding the pricing and availability of the LG Sound Suite are still pending. For comparison, the TCL Z100 speaker is priced at $300.
