Kapil Sharma's latest film, 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2', has seen a drop in box office numbers since its release. According to Sacnilk.com, the movie grossed ₹1.85 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹2.5 crore on the second day. Early estimates suggest a ₹2.64 crore nett collection on day three, bringing its total earnings to ₹6.99 crore so far.
On Sunday, Hindi occupancy for 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2' was at 36.74% overall.
In comparison, the first film in the series, released in 2015, had a stronger box office performance. Over its first three days, it earned ₹28.8 crore, with ₹10.20 crore on day one, ₹8.60 crore on day two, and ₹10 crore nett on day three, as reported by Sacnilk.com.
'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2' features Hira Warina, Ayesha Khan, Tridha Choudhury, Manjot Singh, and Parul Gulati alongside Kapil Sharma. Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas Mustan produced the film, which serves as a sequel to the 2015 comedy. The original 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' starred Varun Sharma, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Sai Lokur, and Elli Avram, and revolved around Kumar Shiv Ram Kishan (Kapil Sharma) and his multiple marriages.
A Hindustan Times review noted the film's watchability stems from its talented cast. Kapil Sharma's comedic timing was highlighted as effortless, with Manjot Singh (as Hubby) also receiving praise. The review further acknowledged the nostalgic appearance of the late actor Asrani.
