Tragedy has struck Kirtan Nadagouda, co-director of blockbuster films like "KGF" and "Salaar," with the death of his four-year-old son, Sonarsh. The young boy reportedly died on Monday after becoming trapped in a lift.
Kannada Prabha reported the news of the accident and the devastating loss for Kirtan and his wife, Samriddhi Patel. The family has not yet released a public statement.
Nadagouda has worked on many Kannada films as part of the direction team. His work as a second unit director and co-director with Prasanth Neel on the "KGF" series and "Salaar" brought him significant recognition. He was preparing to make his Telugu directorial debut with a horror film produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Neel; the project was launched last month.
Pawan Kalyan's Condolences
Pawan Kalyan shared his condolences to the grieving family on social media. He wrote of his heartbreak upon learning of the death of Kirtan Nadagouda's son. Kalyan acknowledged Nadagouda's upcoming directorial debut in both Telugu and Kannada, and expressed his deep sadness for Kirtan and his wife, Samriddhi Patel, on the loss of their son, Chiranjeevi Sonarsh K. Nadagouda.
Confirming the details of the accident, Pawan Kalyan stated he was deeply saddened to learn that four-and-a-half-year-old Sonarsh had died after becoming trapped in a lift. He extended his deepest condolences to Kirtan and Samriddhi, and offered his prayers that they find strength to cope with their grief.
Numerous fans have also sent messages of condolence to the family.
