Complete list of players sold at the IPL 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi. See which teams acquired Cameron Green, Matheesha Pathirana, and other top picks.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday (December 16, 2025) saw some aggressive bidding, with franchises spending big to secure top talent. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) made the biggest splash, acquiring Australian all-rounder Cameron Green for a record-breaking ₹25.20 crore and Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana for ₹18 crore.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) also signaled their intentions by investing heavily in young talent, spending ₹14.20 crore each on rookies Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma. These acquisitions made Veer and Sharma two of the most expensive uncapped players in IPL history. In total, nine domestic uncapped players achieved crorepati status, while three others received bids exceeding ₹90 lakh.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) secured the services of England all-rounder Liam Livingstone for ₹13 crore during the recall round. Pacer Auqib Nabi Dar from Jammu and Kashmir also attracted significant interest, with Delhi Capitals (DC) acquiring him for ₹8.40 crore. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) added to their roster by signing Madhya Pradesh left-arm pace-bowling all-rounder Mangesh Yadav for ₹5.20 crore.

Among established Indian players, Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi, both high-profile releases before the auction, fetched substantial amounts. Bishnoi will join Rajasthan Royals (RR) as their lead spinner for ₹7.20 crore. RCB successfully acquired Venkatesh Iyer for ₹7 crore after KKR, who outbid them last season, withdrew from the bidding.

Other notable acquisitions include Australian all-rounder Jack Edwards to SRH for ₹3 crore. Gujarat Titans (GT) picked up New Zealand's Tom Banton for ₹2 crore, while RR added Adam Milne, also from New Zealand, for ₹2.40 crore in the accelerated round.

Across the auction, all 77 available players were signed, with franchises spending a combined total of ₹215.45 crore. KKR emerged as the highest spending team, entering the auction with a purse exceeding their nearest rivals by more than ₹20 crore.

Here’s a complete rundown of the players sold and the teams they will represent in IPL 2026:
