The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the Indian squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa.
Shubman Gill, while Hardik Pandya are back in the squad after injury concerns, while Rinku Singh and Rishabh Pant have been left out.
The senior men’s selection committee has named a 15-member squad with Suryakumar Yadav as captain and Shubman Gill as his deputy, subject to fitness clearance from the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
South Africa is currently on its tour to India with Test series concluded and ODI series underway. The T20I series are set to begin from December 9, 2025.
India will look to leverage its mix of experienced players and emerging talent against a South African side touring India this month.
