James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash (Avatar 3) is set to arrive in Indian theatres on December 19, 2025, in six languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Advance IMAX bookings have now officially opened across India.
PVR INOX, which leads the country’s IMAX footprint, has activated special on-ground booking counters and rolled out Avatar themed promotions across its platforms to streamline the ticketing experience.
The third chapter in the Avatar saga introduces Varang, the matriarch of the Fire Clan, expanding Pandora’s cultural and narrative scope. Fans can book their IMAX tickets immediately, while information on regular show bookings will be shared soon.
The film marks the return of Sam Worthington and Zoë Saldana, with James Cameron and Jon Landau producing. Viewers planning to watch the movie in IMAX should note that the format will be available only in English and Hindi.
