IKEA Debuts Three New Qi2 Wireless Chargers

IKEA has released three new wireless chargers under the Västmärke product line in select markets worldwide. These accessories offer varied features to suit diverse charging needs.

The Västmärke Wireless Charger is a doughnut-shaped device encased in bright red silicone. The top section serves as the charging pad, equipped with magnets to securely hold compatible smartphones. The bottom half folds out, functioning as a grip and providing storage for the included USB-C cable. Its dimensions are approximately 2 x 1 inches (6 x 3 cm).

For bedside tables, desks, or even kitchen counters, the Västmärke Wireless Charging Stand is designed to hold a phone either horizontally or vertically, secured by a magnet. It features a cork base and measures about 3.25 x 27.5 x 4.5 inches (8 x 12 x 7 cm).

The Västmärke Wireless Charger with Lighting combines charging with ambient lighting. This two-in-one device has a bowl shape for storing small items like keys and doubles as a mood or night light. The light is activated by pressing the central wireless charging puck. Constructed partly from glass, it measures approximately 10.5 x 2.5 x 11.0 inches (27 x 7 x 28 cm).

All IKEA Västmärke wireless chargers are Qi2.0 certified, providing up to 15W of power. They are compatible with PD 3.0 and QC 2.0 charging protocols and include a 47-inch (120 cm) USB-C cable. Note that a power supply is not included.
