Hyundai Motor India reports November 2025 sales figures, with the Creta leading and the Venue showing strong growth. A detailed model-by-model breakdown.
Hyundai Motor India saw domestic sales reach 50,340 units in November 2025. This represents a 4.34 percent increase compared to the 48,246 units sold in November of the previous year. That said, the reality is a bit more complicated. sales experienced a 6.42 percent decrease compared to October 2025's 53,792 units, suggesting a typical cooling of demand following the festive season.
**Model Performance**
The Creta remained Hyundai's top-selling vehicle, achieving combined internal combustion engine (ICE) and EV sales of 17,344 units in November 2025. This figure shows a 12.24 percent year-on-year increase from November 2024, demonstrating the Creta's continued strength in the mid-size SUV market. Creta sales did see a 5.64 percent decrease compared to October 2025, which likely reflects a seasonal slowdown.
The Venue secured its position as the second best-selling Hyundai model with 11,645 units sold. This translates to a significant 19.39 percent year-on-year growth. The Venue's demand remained relatively stable, experiencing only a slight 0.79 percent decrease compared to the previous month.
Aura also performed well, recording 5,731 units, a nearly 35 percent increase year-on-year. This reaffirms the compact sedan's consistent appeal, even with a slight month-on-month dip.
Exter sales reached 5,705 units. This is nearly flat compared to the previous year, showing a minor decrease of 0.73 percent. Month-on-month, Exter sales declined by over 9 percent, indicating a softening in demand after an initial surge.
The Grand i10 and i20 faced challenges, with sales declining by 19.55 percent and 3.77 percent year-on-year, respectively. Grand i10 sales totaled 4,559 units, while i20 sales reached 3,777 units. This highlights the increasing competition within the hatchback segment.
Alcazar sales totaled 840 units in November 2025, marking a sharp year-on-year decline of over 60 percent. There was also a significant month-on-month decrease of 33 percent. Verna sales also remained low at 709 units, down more than 41 percent year-on-year, indicating ongoing difficulties for sedans despite the model's safety features. Premium models such as the IONIQ 5 and Tucson recorded low sales volumes, with 24 and 6 units sold, respectively. These models cater to specific niche markets.
Overall, Hyundai's November 2025 sales results indicate year-on-year growth, primarily fueled by the Creta, Venue, and Aura. Month-on-month figures suggest a broader market correction following the festive season. The company's reliance on SUVs for driving sales volume remains clear, while hatchbacks and sedans continue to encounter headwinds.
