**1. Outbound Travel Boom:** In 2024, a record 30.89 million Indians traveled abroad, marking a 10.79% increase compared to 2023. This is the first time India has surpassed the 30 million mark for international travelers since gaining independence. Since India's economic liberalization in 1991, the number of Indians traveling abroad has increased by an astounding 1,500%.
