Unki khaas baat yahi thi ki koi bhi paristithi ho, woh uske anusar turant ek sher suna dete the...yeh unki khoobi thi (Over time, a hidden side of his personality emerged… when he began reciting Urdu poetry. His special quality was that no matter what the situation was, he would instantly recite an appropriate couplet… this was his gift). " Hema Malini added, "I often told him he should write a book—his fans would have loved it. So, he was very serious about it and was planning everything, but woh kaam par adhura reh gaya (He took it very seriously and had started planning everything, but that work remained unfinished)."
