Grammy-winning composer Ricky Kej claims a Zomato delivery agent robbed his Bengaluru home. He posted CCTV footage of the incident on social media.
Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej is claiming he was robbed at his Bengaluru residence, alleging that a Zomato food delivery agent is the culprit. The musician took to social media to report the incident, tagging Zomato and Bengaluru police and urging residents to be vigilant after the daytime theft.
Kej stated that the incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Thursday. According to his account, the individual entered his property and stole a sump cover. Kej's detailed post described how the suspect initially visited the premises approximately 15 minutes prior to the theft, apparently to survey the area before returning.
Kej described the act as “quite bold,” suggesting this might not be the first offense committed by the individual. He has appealed to Zomato and the authorities for assistance in identifying the person involved.
“I was robbed! Looks like one of your drivers entered my home on Thursday and stole our sump cover,” Kej wrote, tagging Zomato and its customer care handle. He reiterated the 6 p.m. timeline and his belief that the suspect conducted a preliminary reconnaissance. “This is probably not their first time,” he added, expressing his concern.
Kej also shared CCTV footage from two angles, showing the suspect's face and the scooter used during the incident. The scooter appears to be a red Honda Activa with a partial registration number visible in the provided images.
