Cowboys fans question George Pickens' limited role in the Vikings game. Was Pickens injured, or was it a strategic decision by Prescott?

During the first half of the Cowboys' game against the Vikings, wide receiver George Pickens saw surprisingly little action, leading fans to speculate about a possible injury. The 24-year-old managed just one reception for 10 yards on three targets.

Frustrated fantasy football players took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to voice their concerns. One fan lamented, "My fate in 3 fantasy leagues rests with George Pickens tonight. And he currently has 0 points in the second quarter," adding a sad face emoji. Others directly questioned Pickens' availability. "Is Pickens injured?" one fan asked, while another wondered, "Why is Dak not passing to George Pickens?"

That said, the reality is a bit more complicated. the limited involvement wasn't due to an injury. Pickens was not injured. The Cowboys' quarterback, Dak Prescott, simply didn't target him frequently in the first half. There is a possibility that Pickens will feature more prominently in the third and fourth quarters.
