Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' draws massive crowds in Kashmir, including smaller towns like Shopian and Pulwama, with record box office numbers.
The movie *Dhurandhar* is playing to packed houses in Kashmir, with strong ticket sales reported across the region.
Exhibitors in Kashmir note that *Dhurandhar* has seen sold-out shows not only in major cities like Jammu and Srinagar but also in smaller towns, including Shopian and Pulwama. Theatre owners and exhibitors suggest that the impressive audience numbers in these locations signal a resurgence in cinema attendance within the region.
In Kashmir's smaller population centers, single-screen theaters are crucial for film distribution, as multiplexes are not present. Citara, a cinema chain operating smaller theaters with seating for 100 to 150 people throughout Jammu & Kashmir, has experienced record attendance for *Dhurandhar* at the majority of its locations. Rahul Nehra, MD of Citara Plex, stated that their strategy focuses on creating appropriately sized cinemas for smaller markets. He added that the positive response to *Dhurandhar* in towns such as Shopian and Pulwama validates their belief that audiences will choose theaters when the experience is affordable, easily accessible, and local.

During its second weekend, *Dhurandhar* brought in ₹144 crore net, marking the highest second-weekend collection for any Hindi film.
