Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' is not only receiving accolades but also achieving significant box office success. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and featuring Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, was released on December 5th and is nearing the end of its second week with record-breaking numbers.
'Dhurandhar' has become Ranveer Singh's highest-grossing film, surpassing 'Padmaavat'. The movie has achieved unprecedented success, marked by a strong opening weekend and week, setting new standards for A-rated Hindi films. The second week's earnings are proving to be historic, demonstrating the film's strong audience appeal.
Notably, 'Dhurandhar' earned more during its second weekend than its first. After collecting ₹207.25 crore in its first week, the film made ₹32 crore on its second Friday. The collections soared to ₹53 crore on the second Saturday and ₹58 crore on the second Sunday. On the second Monday (day 11), the film continued its successful run with ₹30.5 crore, exceeding its day 4 earnings. The momentum continued on the second Tuesday (day 12) with ₹30 crore. By Wednesday afternoon (day 13), the film had collected an additional ₹6.87 crore, bringing the total domestic collection to ₹418.62 crore.
Globally, 'Dhurandhar' has grossed ₹639 crore, making it Ranveer Singh's highest-grossing film worldwide, surpassing 'Padmaavat' (₹585 crore). The film achieved record-breaking numbers, including Ranveer's biggest opening weekend (₹103 crore net) and week (₹207.25 crore net). It has also set new benchmarks for A-rated Hindi films, achieving the highest seventh-day, eleventh-day, and second-week earnings, exceeding ₹200 crore net. The film registered historic collections on its eighth, ninth, and tenth days, recorded the biggest second weekend in Hindi cinema, and became the only ₹100-crore opening film to grow in its second weekend. It is now Aditya Dhar’s highest-grossing film and the top-grossing A-rated Indian film of 2025.
