The action-packed spy thriller 'Dhurandhar,' directed by Aditya Dhar and featuring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, continues its impressive run at the box office. The film has achieved a historic milestone, securing the highest second-week earnings ever for a Hindi film.
'Dhurandhar' has raked in an estimated Rs 411.25 crore net in India after just 12 days in theaters. The movie's strong performance has pushed its second-week net total to Rs 204 crore, making it the only Hindi film to surpass the Rs 200 crore mark in its second week. Notably, it reached this milestone in only five days.
Early estimates suggest the film earned approximately Rs 30 crore net on Day 12, matching its second Monday earnings and marking the biggest second Tuesday collection for a Hindi film to date. Trade analysts predict that 'Dhurandhar' may surpass its first-week earnings by the end of its second week. The movie earned Rs 207.25 crore net during its first week.
Globally, 'Dhurandhar' has surpassed Rs 100 crore at the international box office, reaching a total of Rs 130 crore. This brings the film's total worldwide box office collection to an estimated Rs 623.5 crore. On the gross front, the movie has grossed approximately Rs 493.5 crore in India and is expected to cross Rs 500 crore soon.
'Dhurandhar' has consistently shown strong performance at the domestic box office, delivering record-breaking daily collections throughout its second week. The film's second Tuesday earnings nearly doubled those of previous releases. 'Dhurandhar' also surpassed the record previously held by 'Pushpa 2 - The Rule,' starring Allu Arjun, which earned Rs 196 crore net in its second week; 'Dhurandhar' achieved this in only five days.
